My Medication is (temporarily) unavailable

What happens if your medication is temporarily unavailable at the pharmacy.

Sometimes a medication is temporarily unavailable at the pharmacy, for example a specific estradiol patch or progesterone.

What happens then?

  • We'll let you know as soon as possible that a medication is unavailable.

  • Your doctor will look at a suitable alternative, such as a different form (for example gel instead of a patch) or a different strength.

  • You can also choose to wait until the medication is available again.

Partial delivery

Does your treatment consist of two medications, for example estradiol and progesterone, and is one of them unavailable? Then you may receive one medication first and the other later. Only start your treatment once the doctor has confirmed this with you.

Can I collect my prescription at my own pharmacy?

No, your medication is delivered via our partner pharmacy.

Do you have questions about an alternative? Ask them in the chat with the medical team: log in and go to View treatment > Chat.
