To assess your request, our doctors need some information from you. It's a legal requirement to verify your identity before prescription medication can be prescribed. That's why we ask you to identify yourself once, so our doctors can help you safely and carefully.
Why is verification needed?
We only receive your name, age, and gender. This information is needed to establish who we're dealing with and to carry out the legally required medication safety check. We don't receive any additional data.
How can you verify?
Option 1: iDIN (recommended)
iDIN is an initiative by Dutch banks that lets you confirm your identity securely via your own bank account. You need:
Your own bank card and online banking
Citizen service number (BSN)
Please note: always use your own bank card. If you use a partner's or family member's bank card, the details won't match and your request will be rejected by the pharmacy. The whole process would then need to be repeated.
Option 2: ID scan
You can verify your identity by scanning your ID card, driving licence, or passport. Follow the steps shown on your screen. You need:
ID card, driving licence, or passport
Good lighting
You can verify via: app.goodweigh.nl/dashboard/profile/verify
