Most weight loss medications, such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Saxenda and Mounjaro, must be stored in the refrigerator (2–8°C).
However, the pen can also be stored outside the refrigerator for some time without losing its effectiveness:
Ozempic: up to 8 weeks
Wegovy: up to 6 weeks
Saxenda: up to 4 weeks
Mounjaro: up to 4 weeks
Rybelsus is a tablet and does not need to be stored in the refrigerator.
Never store your medication in the freezer or in direct sunlight; always keep the temperature below 30°C. Always check the package leaflet for the exact storage instructions.
